The Pierce room was originally one with the Jackson room. The four Ivie daughters resided here until they were eventually married. The entrance to the room was originally a large closet. In 1986 a wall was put up dividing the room in two, and the bathroom was added. This room features a lovely king size pencil poster bed as well as a twin bed. Directly opposite the king bed is a lovely mahogany woodwork electric fireplace to add ambiance year round, and an extra bit of warmth in the wintertime. At this time the bathroom has a walk in shower making it perfect for guests who prefer only a shower, or might have difficulty with a step in tub/shower.
