The Jefferson room is the largest bedroom in the Inn. It is said that legends such as the Rockefellers, Joe DiMaggio, and Marilyn Monroe slept here. All of the fixtures in the bathroom are original; take special note of the grand white pedestal sink in the bathroom, the largest in the house. Slabs of marble were placed under all of the original toilets to avoid water damage to the hardwood floors. One excellent feature of this room is the five large windows, which provide an excellent source of lighting, as well as a terrific breeze in the summertime.
